Tanja Zupančič (b. 1985) is a visual artist exploring the space between reality and perception.

Her paintings create non-linear visual worlds that feel familiar yet slightly other. She also works with natural pigments made from crushed rock and earth, honouring an ancestral connection to the land and soil.

Her work grows from lifelong practice of looking inward and is deeply shaped by her experience of living in India for almost a decade. It is rooted in an ongoing questioning of what surrounds her, what is revealed and what lives beneath the surface of everyday life.

She currently lives and works in Slovenia.
